    Search engines are used all over the world. When people need information for school and projects, they go straight to the search engines.

What people probably do not think about is, how does a search engine work? It is actually really cool how a search engine works. When you type something in, a "spider" goes through the world wide web, and looks for the information you need. Sometimes the results that the search engines give you are not exactly what you are looking for, but it could lead to other information that may be helpful. Sometimes it could be hard to find information on the internet. There are many different types of search engines, but the information on the search engines are not much different from each other. The different types of search engines that there is are... www.yahoo.com , www.google.com, www.bing.com, and more..  Searching the world wide web for information is something that almost everybody does, and people will continue to search the world wide web. Before the internet , people would always go to the libraries to get their information from books, but unfortunetly  books go out of date very quickly. Now that is the quality of web searching !
